Doing business with Paisley HA

We want to make it as simple as possible for you to do business with Paisley HA.

We do this as we want to provide better services to our customers whilst obtaining the best possible value for money when buying from external contractors and suppliers.

This information is for existing suppliers of goods, services and works to the PHA and those who wish to become a supplier.

We encourage all sizes of organisations, including small and medium-sized enterprises, to compete for business from us as we recognise that they are key local employers making significant contributions to their communities and local economies.

We take a positive approach to Fair Work practices, including for example paying the real Living Wage. It is expected that contractors that work with us will also take a positive approach to Fair Work practices.

As a Registered Social Landlord we are required to follow Scottish Government guidelines for procurement by public bodies.  When purchasing goods, services and works  we  aim to achieve best value for money whilst maintaining the highest standards of honesty, integrity, impartially and objectivity.

Procurement

Paisley HA follows a procurement process which is laid out in our Procurement Policy when purchasing goods and services.

We do this as we want to provide better services to our customers whilst obtaining the best possible value for money when buying from external contractors and suppliers.

Procurement oppertunities 

We advertise all tender opportunities that are open to the market on Public Contracts Scotland which is an online portal hosted by Scottish Government.

We encourage prospective contractors or suppliers to sign up to Public Contracts Scotland to receive notifications for all Scottish public sector contracting opportunities.

If you see a contract advertised which would be of interest to your company, you should follow the instructions given in the Contract Notice or advert.
