PHA Summer 2026 Newsletter Out Now

Paisley Housing Association has published its Summer 2026 Newsletter, highlighting major investment in homes and communities, expanded support services and new opportunities for tenants and residents to influence future decision making.

A key feature of this edition is the Association's Community Involvement Event taking place on 14 September 2026 at The Wynd in Paisley. Tenants and residents are being invited to help shape the organisation's next 2-Year Business Plan, share ideas for local projects and learn more about involvement opportunities including the Customer Voice Panel and Board membership. Participants who become members and attend the event will receive a £25 shopping voucher.

The newsletter also announces significant improvements to customer services, including the introduction of the Homemaster housing management system and a new online customer portal later this year. These developments will offer customers greater flexibility in managing their tenancy, reporting repairs and making payments online.

Investment in homes remains a priority, with over 150 properties included in the 2026/27 boiler replacement programme, more than 90 homes benefiting from kitchen upgrades, and further door replacement works planned across the Association's housing stock. A £276,000 allocation for disabled adaptations will also help residents remain safe, independent and comfortable in their homes.

The Association is also celebrating the expansion of its Advice and Communities Team following the successful award of £480,000 from the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme and £150,000 from the Scottish Government's Advice in Accessible Settings Fund. The funding will support enhanced welfare, money, debt and energy advice services, helping more tenants maximise income, manage household costs and sustain their tenancies.

Alongside service updates, the newsletter showcases a range of community initiatives, from the continued development of the Argyle Street and Lady Lane Community Garden to local cultural events, free family activities and the return of the annual Garden Competition.

Chief Executive Fiona McTaggart thanked tenants and residents for their ongoing involvement, noting that feedback and participation continue to play a vital role in shaping services and strengthening communities across Paisley.
