You should call the usual Bruce Stevenson number , 0131 553 2293, during working hours if a relevant insurance claim is to be made. Please note as well as the weekends, Bruce Stevenson’s office will be closed 25-26 December and 1-2 January.
As usual, if emergency repairs are required to stop further damage, these ( reasonable ) repairs can be done without contacting Bruce Stevenson first , although ideally you should take photos before and after the repair(s) and then contact Bruce Stevenson , as quickly as possible, during their office opening hours.
Only if there is an Major Incident such as a fire/ flood, you should contact the Loss Adjuster as soon as possible for advise/information. To do this call Questgates, the claims handlers for Avid Insurance, on 01204 860 427 . This line is staffed at all times.
