Age Scotland Survey

Age Scotland, the national charity for older people, is seeking the views of older people on their current and future accommodation needs.

It is well known that Scotland’s population is ageing, with 25% of Scotland’s population set to be over 65 by 2043. The Scottish Government has pledged to build 50,000 new homes by the end of this Parliament, and Age Scotland wants to give the Government as much information as possible to ensure the right kinds of housing are being built.

This survey will influence how the Scottish Government makes decisions on all areas related to housing, with a view to how to help people live healthily in their own home into older age or to move to the kind of home that would suit them.

Age Scotland is keen to hear from as many people aged 55 and over as possible in order to get a clear picture of housing in Scotland that can then be taken to the Scottish Government. As an added incentive, there are five £50 cash prizes available for randomly selected participants.

The deadline is the 19th Jan so there is definitely still time to give your views and enter the prize draw!
